Organic cotton, handspun collarless shirt

This totally unique fabric known as tetwa cloth is hand spun and handwoven to produce a fabric that is similar to hemp but softer and lighter with a looser weave. This is the natural, un-bleached and un-dyed colour of the cloth. It is produced in HPG's program area of Humla district, one of the poorest and remotest areas of Nepal - 5 days walk from the nearest road. Spirals of Abundance has directly supported HPG's weaving program in Humla by supporting training and hardware to develop handlooms that can produce four times the tetwa than the traditional back-strap loom in the same time.

The hand spinning and weaving of the locally grown, organic cotton produces a varied textured weave and look making each piece individual and unique.The cloth is handwoven and tailored specifically for Spirals of Abundance, making a unique textile that you won't find in any of the high street shops.
